Irish Open 2016
Irish Open Diving Championships 2016
In November 2016 DuDive sent the largest team ever to the Irish Open Diving Championships, Dublin, Ireland.
The team, made up of fourteen divers, consisted of divers from all squad levels, competing in twenty three events. The event, considered a warm-up event for the season, attracts divers from the UK and Ireland so there was some fierce competition!
The team dived exceptionally well with a number of divers attending their first international competition. It was amazing to see just about everyone achieving massive personal best scores - not to mention the fantastic medal haul.
Out of the twenty three events, DuDive brought home seven medals, and that's not to mention the five events where the divers narrowly missed out finishing in 4th place.
We are so proud of what the team achieved. It's exciting to see some great results and diving this early in the year. It's going to be an exciting season ahead!
